Welcome to pilot.school operated by KROSHKA INC ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and KROSHKA INC when you use https://pilot.school, our apps, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
1. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be18 years or older to use the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- We may require identity checks to prevent fraud and maintain compliance.
2. Services; No Flight Instruction
- The Service providesAI-powered learning content to help prepare for pilot theory exams (PPL/CPL/ATPL) and related knowledge.
- The Service is for educational and informational purposes only and is not certified flight instruction. It must not be used for operational flight decisions.
- Always follow official regulations, aircraft manuals (AFM), SOP, ATO/CFI guidance, and ATC instructions.
3. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal
- We offer amonthly subscription billed in advance. Your plan renews automatically until canceled.
- The price, billing cycle, and payment methods are shown at checkout. Taxes may apply.
- Statement descriptor on card/bank statements:PILOT.SCHOOL (or a shortened variation where required).
- You authorize us (and our payment providers, e.g., Stripe) to charge the applicable fees and taxes each billing period.
- You maycancel anytime in your account portal. Access continues until the end of the current paid period.
- Trials (if offered) and promotions are subject to additional terms presented at sign-up.
4. Refunds
30-day satisfaction guarantee after your first payment: you may request a full refund for any reasonwithin 30 days of your first payment only. Subsequent renewals are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Acceptable Use (AUP)
- Do not misuse the Service, attempt to bypass security, or use the content to perform unsafe flight operations.
- No unlawful, infringing, misleading, or harmful content; no scraping at scale, reverse engineering, or attacks on Service integrity.
6. Intellectual Property
- We (or our licensors) own the Service and its content. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Service for personal, non-commercial study.
- Do not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
7. User Content
- You may submit content (e.g., notes, answers). You grant us a license to use it to operate and improve the Service.
- Do not upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
8. Third-Party Services
Some features rely on third-party services (e.g., payment processing, AI inference). We do not control their policies.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- We do not warrant exam results, certification outcomes, or real-world fitness for any purpose.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
- Our total liability for any claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
- This Agreement is governed by theState of Florida (without regard to conflict of law principles).
- Exclusive jurisdiction and venue lie in thestate and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
- We may provide an arbitration addendum with a class-action waiver; if provided, it will govern instead of court proceedings.
12. Aviation Safety Disclaimer
pilot.school is an educational tool only. It does not replace certified flight instruction, official regulations, aircraft flight manuals (AFM), or standard operating procedures (SOP). Do not rely on pilot.school for operational flight decisions.

Privacy Policy

KROSHKA INC ("we", "us", "our") operatespilot.school. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in theUnited States, EU/EEA, and South Africa.
1. Categories of Data
- Account & Identity: name, email, password, country.
- Payment & Billing: processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. Billing address, last4, tokenized identifiers.
- Usage & Study Activity: courses viewed, progress, quiz results, interactions, device identifiers, IP, log data.
- Support Communications: messages sent to support.
- Cookies/Tracking: preference, session, analytics cookies (see Cookie section).
2. Purposes and Legal Bases
- Provide the Service (contract performance).
- Personalize learning and recommend content (legitimate interest / contract).
- Payments and fraud prevention (contract/legitimate interest; Stripe may act as an independent controller for risk/fraud).
- Analytics and service improvement (legitimate interest; obtain consent for non-essential cookies in the EU).
- Compliance with law (legal obligation).
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only as necessary to operate the Service:
- Payment processing: Stripe.
- Hosting/Infrastructure: Vultr (The Constant Company, LLC).
- AI/LLM provider: OpenAI (for model inference and content features).
- Compliance and Safety: law enforcement requests where required by law.
Where required, we use data processing agreements and safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
4. International Transfers
We are a US company. When transferring data from the EU/EEA or South Africa, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses) and implement technical and organizational measures.
5. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legal/financial compliance, then delete or anonymize it.
6. Your Rights
- EU/EEA (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
- US (California – CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, delete, correct, and opt-out of certain sharing; we do not sell personal information.
- South Africa (POPIA): rights to access, correction, deletion, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

The Service is for users 18+ only. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
